Kristin G. Taylor

Ms. Taylor received her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1996. Ms. Taylor received her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating Cum Laude, in 1993. Ms. Taylor has been with Bright and Brown since 1997, and became a partner in 2005.

Throughout her legal career at Bright and Brown, Ms. Taylor’s main practice area has been complex civil litigation. Ms. Taylor has significant experience in general business litigation, including contract disputes and business torts, as well as in a variety of environmental litigation and regulatory matters involving real property damage and which arise under various state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Ms. Taylor has represented both mineral owner/lessors and mineral lessee/operators in matters and disputes involving various oil and gas contracts and agreements, including participation (“farmout”) agreements, oil and gas leases and assignments, purchase and sale agreements, and consulting/confidentiality agreements.
